Atmospheric probe
Project probes for upper atmospheric research and close the universe (30km +1 m) assumed in the design, development, launch and exploitation of a balloon-instrument module (probe) with a one-way and / or two-way transmission of data during the flight with the control center on Earth in real time.
The task is a balloon filled with helium or hydrogen to lift the instrument module height of 1km to 40km, depending on konkrenoj mission. On the suspension rope which was instrumental module attached to a balloon, is placed parachute system (optional) for a soft landing instrument modules during return to Earth.
Instrument module is located in an enclosed cabinet where he placed a set of scientific-research and educational components, including communications equipment and antennas, cameras, computers, sensors ..
Autonomous System balloon-instrument module delivers a variety of instrument and equipment, including cameras, in the troposphere, stratosphere and close outer space (an altitude of over 30km), depending on the tasks of individual missions. For the first time Croatia is thus included in the actual space exploration in the so-called. border area between the Earth and the universe.
The working title of the project is HISTRION atmospheric probes.
In 2009. was carried out an experimental launch (HISTRION-ESP-2). In 2010. was carried out three launches (HISTRION 1A-2 and HISTRION HISTRION-3). For 2011. year is planned to launch at least three and HISTRION-4, HISTRION-5 and HISTRION-6BIO.
